| 03.16.2001 | I've joined Aethersoft, a video game company that authors the game Zeta, you should check out their site here. I've been doing concept drawings for the new release and so far everything's doing well. I'm their lead concept artist, so I'm hoping to make some good advances in my goal toward my career as a concept artist! That's all, I'm trying to get some bugs fixed with FractalIS and I'll release a new version 1.0.b soon... I haven't worked on the AVI file maker in awhile... I got so much work on it done but then I hit this one problem that I'm hoping to fix soon when I have the time. Once I'm done with that, I'm thinking about selling FractalIS. But as for now, enjoy FractalIS for free and have a look at my other products! | |
| 03.02.2001 | FractalIS 1.01a is out now. It just includes some bug fixes and such. I'm working on a Delphi app right now that I'm thinking of calling Homer, like the famous writer, it's supposed to be kind of like word, but I'm still far from completion, at this point in the programs development, I'm working on a table viewer (i.e. Microsoft Excel) because I can't stand the fact that Microsoft charges so damn much for their product... Anyway, Homer will be free as all of my programs are. I'm still not done with the site yet, as that will take some time, so be patient. | |
| 02.26.2001 | I've added some more programs to the downloads section under other downloads, these are programs written by people other than StackSwitch, The two new programs I've added are a really good FTP server and a great Web server, with these two, you could run your own webpage that you could edit away from home, it's also really good when you're in college and you forgot your report or a lab program at home, if it's on your computer, all you have to do is FTP in from the computer lab and get the file that you needed. I think I'll write a small tutorial on putting together a server with a dynamic DNS and using a forwarding service. I've also done some more work on FractalIS 1.0, I kinda worked on a colormap editor, it's coming along so hold your horses if it doesn't work, I don't reccomend downloading FractalIS just yet if you already have it, wait until I'm done with 1.01a first. | |
| 02.24.2001 | Check out the FractalIS section, it's complete! After staying up all night working on the two pages that make up the section. I've converted all of the best FractalIS screenshots and put them on the Fractal Art page. Well, that does it for me, I'm exhausted, I'll see you in a couple of days, I have to catch up on some sleep! | |
